Tempest series review
Title: Tempest Revealed
Author: Tracy Deebs
series: Tempest book 3
Genres: fantasy mermaids
age: young adult/teen
My ratiing: 2.75/5
This series was ok when held up against other mermaid books I've read. Some things that really bugged me was tempest inability to pick one guy and stick with him i feel like for most of books one and two and the first chapters of book three when she was with one guy but wanted the other. Also to me the big fight climax scenes in book two and three had way to much in common and were predictable. I found myself really liking the side characters in this series way more then I did the main one but thats really not uncommon for me. Overall while I didn't hate this book there were too few things to really hold my interest and it became really predictable so that's why I'm giving it 2.75/5 didn't dislike it enough for two stars but didn't enjoy it enough for 3.

Blame by Jeff Abbott book reciew
Blame by Jeff AbbottMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
I have enjoyed everything I have ever read by Jeff Abbott and this is no exception I had to keep turning the page to see what would happen next to find out who live danger was. That ending wow I literally yelled at the book when I read it i was not expecting that not at all. I always like books more that keep me guessing until the end and this book achieved that I rooted for Jane the whole time had a strong dislike for perri and was blown away by the ending overall a fast paced enjoyable read!

Another so so read
The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine HoweMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Another so so book for me. I am wanting to visit Salem at some point so am reading every book to do with the trials i can get my hands on.
I read this book after reading how to hang a witch and loving it that book is written by a descendant of Cotton Mather and at the author states at the end of the book she is distantly related to not one but two of the accused learning this I would have thought the book would be better.
my issues:
1. The main character I didn't enjoy Connie at all she was so boring and slow (in my opinion) she didnt pick up on things that should have been obvious to her until the final last possible second. At some points i got the feeling of thinking she is better then others because of her education (her mom for sure Sam at first and the lady at the acult shop to name a few) and that's a quality i find very hard to deal with in most characters.
2. The writing / flow the writing of this book was so hard for me at times the author was very descriptive of every little thing sometimes more then once in the same paragraph and that to me is unnecessary. She also would state something as a fact then later in the book would say something to wipe that fact out that to me is a bad sign in an author and a rookie mistake. As for the flow the story was so broken up by the past interludes that it made it hard to follow sometimes by the time I finished an interlude it would take me a minute to get back into Connie's story and vice versa. I understand the need for them just wish she would have done a better job of connecting them somehow.
final thoughts
As a person who will read anything put in front of her I often find my feelings on a lot of what I read to be so so or ok not good but not bad. That was my feeling with this one then after sitting on it for a bit i realized some things that really bugged me. so although I would never say any book is not worth reading i will say that if you are looking for books about the trials book this one not at the top of your list.

Fifty shades of no (darker review)
Darker by E.L. JamesMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
I did not like the original books from Anna's perspective and I have a list of reasons why here's a short list
1. It was just a book of sex scenes with very weak plot inbetween
2. Anna is very one dimensional she has no substance her character doesn't bring anything to the story she is just there to make christians scenes better.
3. James steals her ideas from other authors who steal there ideas from other authors read the crossfire series by Sylvia day if you don't believe me there so much better then this in all aspects.
But it's not time to talk about the originals now it's time to talk about darker.
I have enjoyed Grey and darker much more and if enjoy is not the right word I'll say tolerate I was able to get through this book without wanting to throw my kindle across the room and the reason for that is there is a plot in them that is more then just sex.
Christian in these books have (most) everything Anna is lacking in the fifty trilogy he has a backstory he has depth he is decently well rounded.
I still have my issues with them but not as many as I do with the first series.
To people considering reading these if you haven't read any of her books and are dead set read grey and darker first. For people who are not quite sure I would say read the crossfire series that I mentioned before way better you will enjoy it more then this.
