Cruel Prince thoughts

Title: The cruel Prince
Author: Holly Black
Series: The folk of the air book 1
Genre: Fantasy
Age Range: Young Adult
My Rating:🌟🌟🌟

This is only the second holly black book I've read the first being The Coldest Girl in Coldtown and after being meh on that book I was hesitant to pick up another one from her that being said I enjoyed this one way more then I thought I would. I enjoyed the world of this book the atmosphere and the Fae the story was interesting enough to keep me in the story but there was something I really could not stand! The characters, their is only one in this book that I really didn't like at some point and that is Vivienne the rest of them were at some point in the narrative were just horrible Jude the main character just got under my skin Prince C and his friends were all just nasty and disgusting let's just say every single other person annoyed me (and there were so many too many) This book was very plot driven for me and had it not been for the characters I would have enjoyed it so much more. Will I continue with the series? Yes. Why? A part of me enjoys being annoyed I guess.

Lair of dreams by Libba Bray

Title: Lair of dreams
Author: Libba Bray
Series: The diviners book 2
Genre: Fantasy, Historical fiction, Horror
Age range: Young adult/teen
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I read the diviners and really liked it but I loved this!

I love that this book has a big cast of such diverse and complex characters, and that we get to see them each grow and develop. I was easily able to slip right back into then head of whomever was the narrator at the time. Dreams have always fascinated me and her descriptions were so good I could see it vividly in my mind

Lastly one thing I liked about this more then the first one is the fact that got to know our antagonist and like her before we knew who she was unlike John Hobbs who was bad and ruthless the whole time Ling may was just a girl who was used and taken advantage of and died in the worst way and like getting to know her outside of the bad things she was doing.

Overall this book was just amazing Libba Bray created a story and characters that are complex beautify written and easy to get lost in i can't wait yet am sad to finish the series.

Wonder woman warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

Wonder Woman: Warbringer (DC Icons, #1)Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I'm not a fan of Leigh Bardugo's Grisha universe or of DC, so going into this I was skeptical, I was so pleasantly surprised by this!

Growing up I knew who wonder woman was of course but I didn't know much of her story in fact when I thought of the Amazon's I thought of Xena.

I loved the characters in this book the relationship between Diana and Alia was so well written I could really feel the connection between them.

I also liked how this book was more focused on sisterhood and friendship rather then romance overall a solid read that makes me excited to continue the series!.
